Jimi Hendrix Experience: Live At The Isle of Fehmarn CD
The Jimi Hendrix Experience: Live At The Isle Of Fehmarn marks the eighth release in Dagger Records’ popular bootleg-style recording series. This historically significant album features The Jimi Hendrix Experience’s final live performance on September 6, 1970 during the Love & Peace Festival held on the Isle Of Fehmarn in Germany. Jimi's Isle Of Fehmarn performance has been widely bootlegged over the last 35 years yet it was never professionally recorded. Amateur recordings made from the audience by fans have served as the only known documentation of this historic concert until now. As the eighth entry in this popular 'bootleg' series, Dagger presents a newly discovered recording made by the festival's promoters. Unbeknownst to Hendrix, the promoters captured the group's entire performance by feeding two overhead stage microphones into a consumer grade Revox reel-to-reel tape machine located off to the side of the stage. The resulting document, rough hewn and unmixed, is clear and not unlike the amateur audience recording featured on the initial Dagger offering Live At The Oakland Coliseum. Jimi Hendrix Experience: Live In Paris & Ottawa 1968 CD
Live In Paris & Ottawa 1968 presents two fiery live performances that highlight Jimi Hendrix's rapidly evolving music repertoire as the rock trio embarked on a worldwide tour in support of their sophomore release, Axis: Bold As Love. Part one begins with a rousing performance at Paris’ famed L'Olympia Theatre on January 29, 1968, marking The Experience’s third performance at the venue in just over a year. Originally released as part of the 1991 box set Stages, The Experience's L'Olympia Theatre performance makes it's return engagement to CD for the first time in more than 15 years. Like all previous recordings in the Dagger Records library, Live In Paris & Ottawa 1968 is once again highlighted by posthumous studio engineering and mastering by our dynamic technical team of Eddie Kramer and George Marino. The Experience's Paris performance features nine fiery recordings, including two rousing Blues classics "Killing Floor" and "Catfish Blues;" six unforgettable live performances featuring some of Jimi Hendrix's most celebrated self-penned compositions including "Foxey Lady," "Red House," "The Wind Cries Mary," "Fire," "Little Wing" and the ageless "Purple Haze;" plus "Drivin' South," a composition Hendrix first recorded and performed in 1965 while serving as one of R&B/Soul musician, Curtis Knight's young guitarists. This collection is rounded out with the inclusion of three previously unreleased live recordings of The Experience’s performance at the Capitol Theatre in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The three, previously unreleased songs represented here include The Beatles' hit single "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" along with two classic Hendrix anthems including "Fire" and "Purple Haze." These new recordings were taped during the band’s first show on the evening of March 19, 1968 and are sourced from a previously undiscovered tape. Authentic Hendrix Item Number: 800-001-025

Jimi Hendrix: Hear My Music CD
Hear My Music is a collection of instrumental recordings that reveal just a few of the creative explorations Jimi Hendrix was undertaking throughout the first half of 1969. Never intended for release in their present state, this collection shines further light on his creative development and unending quest for new musical challenges. The diversity of these recordings-from solo demos to group efforts with The Experience to free form jam sessions-make clear Hendrix's sheer love of playing music and interacting with fellow musicians in any setting whatsoever. Jimi Hendrix: The Baggys Rehearsal Sessions CD
Jimi Hendrix: The Baggy's Rehearsal Sessions represents the fifth release by Dagger Records, the official bootleg label created by Experience Hendrix. This edition offers the fruits of the guitarist's spirited December 1969 rehearsals at New York's Baggy's Studios. The recordings represented here were recorded direct to two-track tape as Jimi Hendrix fronted the Band Of Gypsys as they prepared for their four unforgettable Fillmore East concerts. Jimi Hendrix Experience: Live At Woburn CD
The Jimi Hendrix Experience: Live At Woburn is the eleventh release in the Dagger Records authorized ‘bootleg’ recording series. Live At Woburn presents a 100% previously unreleased concert recording capturing The Jimi Hendrix Experience in concert at the Woburn Music Festival on July 6, 1968. The Woburn Music Festival was one of Britain’s first large scale, open-air rock music events. Staged by brothers Richard “Rik” and John Gunnell, who were well respected individuals in the burgeoning London music scene where they were heavily involved in many aspects including band managed, show promoters and club owners. Rik in particular, who owned three fashionable 1960’s London nightspots—the Ram Jam Club, Flamingo, and Bag O’ Nails—presented authentic, first generation American icons like John Lee Hooker and Otis Redding and some of the brightest examples of a swelling wave of emerging British talent such as The Rolling Stones, Jack Bruce and Georgie Fame. Jimi Hendrix Experience: Paris 1967/San Franciso 1968 CD
Part one of this collection features The Experience’s October 9, 1967 performances at Paris’ famed L’Olympia Theatre. These raw, direct to two-track live recordings made for French radio document The Experience's triumphant return to Paris almost one year to the date of their 1966 showcase as a support act for Johnny Hallyday. This return engagement saw an exuberant, sold out house roared their approval throughout the evening. The L’Olympia performance came just eight days after sessions for what would become Axis: Bold As Love had resumed at London's Olympic Studios on October 1, 1967. The Experience was in top form on this evening, roaring out of the gate with "Stone Free" and followed, much to the frenzied delight of the audience, with vibrant renditions of "Hey Joe" and "Fire." Beyond the two songs already set aside as part of 2000’s The Jimi Hendrix Experience box set, two additional Paris performances have not been included on this release. Technical problems commenced during the latter half of "Catfish Blues" and a malfunctioning microphone rendered "Burning Of The Midnight Lamp" and "Foxey Lady" unusable. Thankfully, Jimi's vocal microphone was restored just prior to the start of B.B. King's "Rock Me Baby." A compact "Red House" prefaced a grinding, muscular take of "Purple Haze." From Paris we move to San Francisco and The Winterland Ballroom. In the interim, the Experience had completed Axis: Bold As Love and had come to San Francisco to kick off their US tour in support of the album. Impresario Bill Graham had booked the group to perform eight concerts over four consecutive nights. The Experience performed at the Fillmore Auditorium on February 1st while The Winterland Ballroom hosted the performances on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th. Each of the eight performances were sold out. The Jimi Hendrix Experience: Live at the Oakland Coliseum CD
The Jimi Hendrix Experience: Live At The Oakland Coliseum is a raw, two-track monophonic audience recording of the Experience at the height of their creative powers. Spread over two discs, The Jimi Hendrix Experience: Live In Oakland presents the group's April 27, 1969 concert at the Oakland Coliseum. The Experience's spirited Oakland performance was capped off with an eighteen minute, extended jam of "Voodoo Child (Slight Return)". Joining the group onstage for this final number was Jefferson Airplane bassist [and Electric Ladyland contributor] Jack Casady. The concert was recorded by Ken Koga using a single microphone onto a portable Sony reel to reel deck. The concert was not professionally recorded, so Ken's amatuer tapes represent the only known documentation of this inspired performance. The monophonic sound is unobtrusive and clear, but far from industry [as well as Jimi's own] standards. Fans of the Experience will recognize the set list, as songs such as "Fire", "Purple Haze", and "Spanish Castle Magic" were staples of the 1969 US tour repertoire, but there are many intriguing elements marbled throughout the eighty-five minute performance. Highlights include Jimi's spontaneous reworking of "Hey Joe", complete with passages about the `soldiers in Vietnam'. Jimi's two blues workouts, "Red House" and "Hear My Train A'Comin" are particularly strong, as is a raucous, extended rendition of "Foxey Lady". The evening came to a close with a rousing finale, as Casady climbed onstage to join the group for "Voodoo Child (Slight Return)". Authentic Hendrix Item Number: 622-001-016

The Jimi Hendrix Experience: Live At Clark University CD
Like no Hendrix live disc ever before issued, The Jimi Hendrix Experience: Live At Clark University provides a window into one night on the road with the Experience. Beyond the memorable concert performances of "Fire", "Red House", "Foxey Lady", "Purple Haze", and "Wild Thing" featured here, Live At Clark University provides a further treat in the form of extended interviews with Jimi, Mitch, and Noel. What makes this collection so unique is the perspective and extraordinary insight gained by listening to the interviews conducted with each band member prior to and immediately following the group's performance. The interviews, conducted backstage in a nearby dressing room, afford a rare opportunity to eavesdrop on Jimi and the group. Jimi's conversation is candid, relaxed, and informative. His philosophy and goals for his music are clear and well stated. The different personalities within the group are also evident, as Mitch and Noel share their insights on the group's accomplishments and musical course. Although Live At Clark University has been drawn from professionally recorded two track masters, it is not without an occasional flaw. Nonetheless, these tapes represent the only known documentation of this spirited performance. We hope you enjoy the experience! Authentic Hendrix Item Number: 800-001-017

The Jimi Hendrix Experience: Winterland 4-CD Digipak
Winterland is drawn from six stellar shows recorded over three days (October 10, 11 and 12, 1968) at San Francisco's historic Winterland Ballroom. These special performances celebrated the two year anniversary of the Jimi Hendrix Experience and came just as the groundbreaking album Electric Ladyland was released. Winterland presents some of Hendrix’s most spectacular guitar work and the four CD set (also available as eight 12" vinyl LPs) is filled with rare live versions of classic songs such as "Manic Depression," "Are You Experienced?," "Tax Free," and "Little Wing" that are not part of any other Sony Legacy release. Fans will also enjoy Hendrix’s dramatic interpretations of Cream’s "Sunshine Of Your Love" and Howlin’ Wolf’s "Killing Floor" [with the Experience joined by Jefferson Airplane bassist Jack Casady] as well his rendition of Bob Dylan’s "Like A Rolling Stone," which has been selected as the lead track for this special release. This special deluxe box set features never before released music from each of the six unforgettable Winterland performances. The new standard and deluxe editions of Winterland are markedly different from a single disc compilation, long out of print, that was briefly issued by Rykodisc in 1987 and 1988. The deluxe edition also presents a rare interview with Hendrix recorded backstage at the Boston Garden a few weeks after the Winterland performances. This previously unreleased bonus provides fans with a unique window into Hendrix’s views about his background, his approach to the guitar and songwriting and future direction of his music. The deluxe edition also features a 36 page booked filled with previously unpublished images by acclaimed photographers Robert Knight, Allen Tannenbaum and Jim Marshall as well as an essay by noted Rolling Stone journalist David Fricke.
