The only reason I gave it a 4 star review instead of 5 stars, is because the 'Send My Love to Linda' track is actually 2 separate tracks that they doctored into one track. The first part is one of the handful of short demo's Jimi recorded of the song with lyrics, and the second part is the only instrumental version of the track that I'm aware of, but they actually cut that part in half. The worst part is, the instrumental segment is easily the best version of the song ever recorded. So we got a very butchered track as a result. This is a huge disservice to Hendrix fans, and this sort of thing should never be done. What they should have done was part 1 and part 2 of the song - the demo, then the complete 8+ minute instrumental as the second part. Hopefully they never do this again with future releases, and if they ever run a second pressing of this CD/LP, they really ought to replace this doctored track with a part 1 and part 2 two complete tracks.
